In partial
modification of this Administration’s Notification regarding declaring of
Public Holidays in the Union Territory of Chandigarh during the calendar year
2018, the 14th April, 2018 (Saturday) will now be observed as Closed Holiday in
all the Government offices/ Boards/Corporations/Institutions including
Industrial Establishments under the Chandigarh Administration and also within
the meaning of Section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 on account of
birthday of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
